RE: Metal Trades Department 2022 Annual Conference
On behalf of the Metal Trades Department, AFL-CIO, it is my pleasure to invite you to join us at our 2022 Annual Metal Trades Department Conference which will be held October 31-November 3, 2022, at Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas.
The theme for this year’s Conference is, ‘The Metal Trades: A Salute to Women in Labor’
Although the Conference is still in the early planning stages, the Department invites you to plan your trip in order that you may attend all Conference associated functions. The Department will host its Annual Charity Golf Tournament, to benefit the Guide Dogs of America-Tender Loving Canines on Monday, October 31. Affiliate caucus meetings will take place on Tuesday, November 1. Our meeting agenda, meeting notices, logistics, and sponsorship opportunities are available for download from our registration website at mtdregistration.com.
As is our custom, the Department will present conferees with an agenda featuring an impressive slate of speakers from the world of labor, management, professional services, and politics, all of whom are well versed in the matters that metal trades workers care most about.
Please feel free to register early for the Conference, our registration website is up and running at www.mtdregistration.com. Through our online registration website, you can book your hotel reservation simply by selecting the “Hotel Reservation” tab. Should you or your group choose not to avail yourselves of the online registration service in booking your room reservations, you may contact the hotel Reservation Center directly at (866-317-1829). Please be advised that you will incur a $15.00 processing fee for all reservations made directly with the hotel. The department has negotiated a special room rate of $145.00 per night, plus tax and resort fee ($25.00). Please reference the Metal Trades if registering by phone. Reservations must be made by Monday, September 12, 2022, to receive this rate. Reservations made after the cutoff are subject to availability and increased rates may apply.
