Edward Jones was appointed President by the Metal Trades Department Executive Council in January 2023.

Jones is an Ironworker and longtime organizer. As President, Jones leads the organization that represents some 50,000 union members across multiple industries including private and Naval shipbuilders and nuclear and petrochemical plants.
