Hello members,

They made a substantial change on wages in the first year (10%) with 1.5% and 2% in the following years, but that initial wage adjustment is still tied to deal-killer benefit reductions.  The 2nd and 3rd year proposals are still drastically lower than our current proposal.

REMINDER!  Please come to the Bargaining Update meeting on Wednesday, September 20th, at the UA 412 Hall (Zuni & San Pedro) starting at 4:00 pm.

Management proposed more takeaways today including missed lunch compensation and meal stipends, as well as taking away Holiday pay being used for the overtime calculation. Your bargaining committee vigorously objected to the proposed takeaways. The union made it very clear that we have zero interest in any giveback in these contract negotiations.
