Registration is now open for the 2020 Annual Metal Trades Department Annual Conference.
As is our custom, the department will present conferees with an agenda featuring an impressive slate of speakers from the world of labor, management, professional services and politics, all of whom are well versed in the matters that metal trades workers care most about. I am pleased to announce that we will offer workshops for our Council representatives including, President’s Club, a private roundtable discussion for MTC Presidents and industry leaders to work together and discuss their most pressing issues and explore solutions.
Please feel free to register early for the Conference, our registration website is up and running at www.mtdregistration.com. Through our online registration website, you can book your hotel reservation simply by selecting the “Hotel Reservation” tab. Should you or your group choose not to avail yourselves of the online registration service in booking your room reservations, you may contact the hotel Reservation Center directly at (800) 358-8777. Please be advised that you will incur a $15.00 processing fee for all reservations made directly with the hotel. The department has negotiated a special room rate of $135.00 per night, plus tax and resort fee ($25.00). Please reference the Metal Trades if registering by phone. Reservations must be made by Monday, August 31, 2020 to receive this rate. Reservations made after the cutoff are subject to availability and increased rates may apply.
In conjunction with our Conference, the MTD will once again hold its Charity Golf Tournament benefiting the Guide Dogs of America. As you may know, the Guide Dogs of America is a worthy cause that was founded by a member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers. In January, Tender Loving Canines Assistance Dogs merged with Guide Dogs of America. The Metal Trades Department is excited about this merger as Tender Loving Canines works to provide service dogs to veterans and individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. With this new addition to the organization, the Guide Dogs of America needs our support more than ever as they strive to provide assistance to those in need. We hope that you can join us in supporting this important cause by sponsoring the 2020 Metal Trades Department Annual Charity Golf Tournament and also through your participation.
We are very excited to assist them their admirable endeavors.
This tournament is sure to be a great kickoff to our Annual Metal Trades Department Conference events. Please return your registration form promptly or register online at www.mtdregistration.com and click on the “Golf Tournament” tab.Download a Golf Sponsor and Player Packet
